Gentlemen,
My thanks to John Dunn for taking the chair at the April meeting whilst I was away on holiday.
A few members went to Liverpool for the day with the Church Lawton Retirement Club. It was a very pleasant outing and the weather was good.
Next month (June) it is our AGM and nominations will be required for the various posts.
I hope to see as many of you as possible on the 31st of May at the President’s evening being held at The Manor in Alsager.
It is amazing how the year has flown by and I can hardly believe that this is my last meeting as President.
Norman Hankey, President.

Fifty-eight members and guests will attend the function with reception at 6.30pm to sit down for dinner at 7.00pm. CLUB WALK WEDNESDAY 1ST MAY
A brief report today as this walk has been covered in detail before, suffice to say we started from the Church House Inn in Buglawton and using the paths of the Biddulph Valley, Staffordshire Way and the Gritstone Trail and then returning along the towpath of the Macclesfield canal. Lunch was at the Inn and enjoyed by all 6 of us.
There will be no walk in June as the date coincides with the visit to Gladstone Pottery.
