WALK REPORT JULY
This month’s Probus walk centred on Oakamoor and followed the disused railway passing the old Station at Alton. After a mile we followed a path on the right passing a peaceful herd of grazing cows who calmly moved aside to allow us passage over the river Churnet. Our next stop was at the Alton Bridge Hotel where we enjoyed our lunch before continuing along Red Road and back to the Car Park.
I will not be available to organise a walk in August!
