June’s walk was a very attractive canal walk right on our door step. Starting at the Rising Sun Kent Green it crossed over to the Trent and Mersey at Lawton, followed that to Red Bull and then went up the Macclesfield Canal back to the pub for lunch. Five members, three ladies and my son’s dog came along for this leisurely stroll of just under 5 miles. We were joined by two members and friend at the Rising Sun Pub for an excellent lunch.
